FRACAP X SOUTHFRESH – M128 LICHENI BOOTS
The first Southfresh x Fracap collaboration celebrates the meeting of Italian craftsmanship and Southern Italy patterns, through the release of the M128 shoe with an original jacquard fabric detail on the collar. Each pair is handcrafted in Monteroni di Lecce – Fracap’s historic home – by the Cappello brothers and their skilled artisans, reflecting a shoemaking tradition that dates back to 1908. The design embodies Southfresh’s original camo research while honoring Fracap’s artisanal heritage, resulting in footwear that is both timeless and contemporary.
The M128 is built on a durable yet lightweight Vibram® commando sole, ensuring flexibility, waterproof protection, and long-lasting wear. Its premium Tuscan leather uppers come in black, complemented by subtle details such as a YFSCAMO LICHENI jacquard fabric on the collar and debossed logos. These elements highlight the collaboration’s attention to detail and reinforce its identity as a product meant to be cherished for years. Whether styled for urban streets or outdoor escapes, the M128 LICHENI balances rugged functionality with understated elegance, embodying the shared ethos of both brands: iconic design, enduring quality and pride in craftsmanship.
This limited-edition boots is inspired by the typical pattern of Salento’s rooftops (Deep South eastern Italy), always full of LICHENS. Why? Because in this region the rooftops are flat and there are 3 charatteristics that lichens need to survive: Sun, humidity in a stable substrate and clean air. In a time when collaborations between brands became like symbiotic relationships, we decide to act like LICHENS, growing up slowly and organically, in our beloved homeplace, Salento.

The Southfresh x Fracap M128 Boot is everything you want in a quality boot – built to last, easy on the eyes, all black with original detailing and handcrafted in Italy with generations of know-how behind it. Made from premium Tuscan leather with a padded jacquard fabric collar, the Fracap’s attention to detail, while gunmetal eyelets, debossed branding, and a sturdy Vibram sole round out the look.
